Improving Make-up
This is a really great effect you can use on your pictures for your layouts. It makes your pictures look mre professional and you get the nice and smooth skin in this tutorial.
Turn this:
Into this:
Open up the picture you want to use in Paint shop pro. This is the picture I will be using.
Zoom into your picture and now select your Soften tool which is under the brush tool (You might want to open up that little arrow poitning down) and start rubbing her skin very gently. Keep away from her eyes and mouth, and be careful on her nose.
Now use the Sharpen tool (with the hardness as 41%) and click a 2 times at her eyes, and her mouth. You may notice that her eyes have gone very eye-catchy. And you may notice that it looks a bit ugly. Don't worry! And don't take it off!! Just wait until you zoom out, it'll look perfecto ;)
And now we need to use the Burn tool to get a little shade into those areas that need it. I'm talking on her eye-lids and a bit on her cheek bones. Be careful!
The next step depends on weather the person has dark hair, or light hair. If they have light hair, grab the Burn tool again and rub a few times on the hair. If it's dark hair, then grab trhe Dodge tool (with the opacity @ 25%) and rub on her hair. Make sure you don't over-exxadurate (spelling?!)
