Brush strokes

Here you will learn to make this picture:



First open up a picture and paste it into a new dokument in Paint Shop Pro. Open up your Layers Pallete (F8). Dublicate your layer (Layers|Dublicate) A new Raster will appear on your layers pallete called 'Copy of Raster 1' Click on that and go to Effects|Art media effects|Brush strokes Click ok and the new window that appears. Now you'll see that your picture has turned all like it's been painted but in a rush.



Now the next step, you don't have to do. But I decided to do it, because it looks better. Select your Earser tool and rub out the brush strokes on the face (Make sure you've clicked on Copy of Raster 1 on your layers pallete) Now you'll see everything is brushed stroked but the face! Hope I helped.



EXTRA: There are so many effects you can do in Paint Shop Pro, and I have most of them for tutorials!
