Have you ever wondered how people make their files into downloads? Well keep reading!! First of all, you can make any program into downloads, but I'm actually teaching you how to make your ZIP files into downloads Click here to learn how to make ZIP files.
Once you have upload your zip file into your programme you use to make your site, you need to paste the following code onto the page you want your download to be.
Where it says http://www.URLforZIPfileHERE.zip put the url of the zip file you uploaded there. To find it, just go your program (maybe ftp) and look for the zip file you uploaded. It's excatly like normal links. So if I upload my zip file into a folder called 'downloads' then my URL will be http://sweetish.sodevious.net/downloads/name.of.zip.file.zip Get it? Hopefully you do! This may be confusing, but trust me you will get the hang of it!!! Hope I helped!
