Learn to turn this picture:

Into this:

First copy the first picture above into your programme. (I am using Paint shop Pro) And open up a new dokument, and right-click then Paste|paste as a new layer. Center your image in the middle, by simply selecting the Move tool (under the hand tool).

Now to start, open up your layer pallete (View|palletes|layers) You will see there is 2 layers. Your background should be the first, and your picture should be the second. Click on Raster 2 and put it as Hard light (Above it there is something saying Normal, just click on that and find Hard light) Now you need to duplicate your image, if you don't know how to do this, go to Layers|Duplicate And now we have to mirror duplicate it. Do this by pressing CTRL+M on your keyboard. You should see on your layers pallete that there is another layer added (Copy of raster 2) Make sure you set that from Hard light to lighten So this is how your layer pallete should be looking like.

Now we have to move that layer (copy of raster 2) Just simply click the Move tool once again and move the picture to the bottom left hand side. You could move it anywhere you like, but I decided to move it on her jacket. It looks cool ;)

And now we have to select the Eraser tool and start to rub out the lightness bit on Vanessa's face and jacket (the big picture) Make sure you still have your mouse clicked on Copy of Raster 2 on your layer pallete so that it actually rubs off the lightness. This is how mine turned out

Now your done!! You can add some text, brushes. Whatever :) Hope I helped! (I made up this effect myself, well at least I hope I did... I actually thought of it myself, but I don't know if someone else has thought of it themseleves too.. haha)
